How to Add Subscription Notifications on Blogspot
The notification is intentionally posted by the website owner to "offer" his website visitors to subscribe or not to the website. Maybe you will also find these notifications on this website because I also want to offer you, want to subscribe or not.
There are many reasons why website owners must give these notifications to their blog visitors. Among them is if you allow or subscribe to the website, then if one day the website owner updates an article or new post, you will get a notification.
So there is an impression of each of the website owners & visitors if they subscribe. Because the website owner will be happy there are visitors who always read the articles they make. Likewise with visitors, they will be more happy when getting the latest updates from the website owner. This means that it is equally beneficial.
Okay, on this occasion I will teach you all about how to give or add subscription notifications when someone visits your website.
How to Add Subscription Notifications on Blogspot
- First, you visit the OneSignal site first. Then, please register or create an account first to get started
- You can register via email, or Facebook. But it's easier I recommend using email to easily get notifications. Fill in the registration field with your email & password. For company name, please fill in up to you or better fill in the name of your website.
- Then, if all of you have filled in, then you select the list. You will be given a verification email via an incoming message in the email you used to register. Select the "confirm" button as I show below this picture.
- Then in the next column, fill in the name of your website, and then at the bottom, you can select the "web push" option. This means you will give notifications to customers through google chrome notifications.
- Then select "Next: Configure Your Platform"
- Then in the column "your site" fill in your Blog Title and at the bottom fill in your URL, for example https://www.seoloading.xyz or https://yourwebsite.blogspot.com.
- Then navigate to the bottom and select "save"
- If you have selected save, then you take the html code that has been given, by selecting "copy code"
- Paste the code that you copied earlier, on your blogspot. by first entering the theme section, then select edit template.
- Save the html code just below <head>.
Note: If the html code cannot be pasted on your template, then you need to parse the html code above. Because not all templates can support html code that has not been parsed.
If all you have done, please select save template, and check your website, whether the notification has appeared or not. Usually the notification appears after you open the website for about 10 seconds, then the notification will appear as below.
It takes about 8-10 seconds for this notification to appear. Because this notification gives a little time for visitors to first read the contents of your website.
If your website visitors press "allow" then automatically they have subscribed to your website, and get updated automatically if you update the new article on your blog.
